Reforestation

Abhiyaanam Social Foundation undertakes reforestation and focuses on restoring degraded lands by planting trees and shrubs. We work with local communities, government bodies, and other NGOs to identify areas in need of reforestation and plant trees to restore the natural habitat. We involve local authorities and community members in the planting process, providing them with training and resources to care for the new plants. We also monitor these areas to ensure the survival and growth of the planted trees. We use a variety of tree species to ensure biodiversity and create a resilient ecosystem. Reforestation helps to restore ecosystems, prevent soil erosion, improve water retention in the soil, and provide habitat for wildlife. It also contributes to the fight against climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide.
